One of the most memorable parts of the 1990 magazine besides all the jokes about Uchi was the Voted Most Likely section. No, we won't reprint the whole lot as some of them might be offensive eight years on, but we have picked some of the more humorous ones that make tickle your funny bone today.

Voted Most Likely
Anthony Yeo VML to have a metamorphosis into a bumble bee
Not quite accurate there, but whether Anthony dressed up as a bumble bee in his circus performances is another matter. Anthony's unicycling exploits actually paid off when he joined a circus and had the most interesting job out of the lot of us. Anthony narrowly escaped death when his circus's train had an accident - Anthony had decided to take the bus, but several of his colleagues were killed. He now works for a production company in Hollywood.
Imran Sandhu VML to open a surgery
Spot on from the seventh form psychics. Now in Karachi, Pakistan, where he is studying at the Dow Medical College, Imran has completed his medical training. He has bulked up since we last saw him in 1990 - apparently life in Karachi is more guns than roses and anybody who is anybody is a member of one political party or another.
Jack Yan VML to pass Bursary
No surprises when the soothsayers of 1990 stated the obvious. Jack went on to get an honour's degree in commerce and a bachelor's in law after getting an "A" Bursary. He still runs his own business, and publishes fashion magazine Lucire.
Peter Cleveland VML to star in Gilligan's Island
Although Gilligan has been rerun twice since we left college, Peter has not appeared in a reunion special alongside the Skipper and Ginger. However, a few years after seventh form Peter had his own lighting business while studying at university, and had been responsible for a number of concerts.
Michael Parker VML to eat Jelly
The last time we caught up with Michael, Geraldine was still his interest - the sages were right. Michael is now a successful insurance broker, having begun his career at Willis Faber & Dumas and eventually going to Aon Corporation.
Miss Hodson VML to fail a biology exam
Way off the mark here unless she did do an exam and the markers could not decipher her handwriting. Miss H. went on to spend some time in Bhutan on VSA - a country with a rich heritage. No animals are killed there - apparently yaks die of old age or fall off cliffs before they can be eaten. We lost touch with Miss H. during the decade but she did return to New Zealand, and had travelled extensively through Europe when she wasn't in Bhutan.
